Tuesday, June 19

8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.	UPAA Welcome, Marcum Conference Center
9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.	Jim Stroup-Virginia Tech, Marcum Conference Center In 2010 Jim captured the Photographer of the Year, Monlthly Image Competition Annual Award, and the Nikon Shootout top prize. Come learn how Jim approaches assignments and gets the best out of each subject. Be prepared to be inspired.

10:30 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.	Print Judging, Miami Art Museum Judge the finest photography from your fellow members in this premier photography contest. This competition determines the Photographer of the Year.

1:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.	Hands on Workshop, Choose 3, 45 minutes at each session. Locations TBA Scott Galvin, Remote Camera setup sports. David Tejada, Lighting DSLR Video Capture, and Key Issues Latest Advances from Nikon and Canon
4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.	Jody Vandergriff of WebDam, Digital asset management in higher education This presentation will explore the unique needs of colleges and universities in digital asset management rich media workflows, tips & tricks for user adoption, and establishing best practices. Jody will present real-world case studies from some of the leading universities and share how they achieve Dam sucess.
6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.	Dinner (dinner on your own) Take a short drive or walk to Uptown for relaxing dinner in downtown Oxford. Spend some time with that day's presenters to learn more and learn how to bring those ideas home to your campus.

Wednesday, June 20

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.	Baylor Photographers, Robbie Rogers & Matthew Minard, Marcum Conference Center Robbie and Matt have transformed Baylor photography. See how they focused the mission of their department to better serve the mission and vision of Baylor University.
10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.	Depart for Air Force Museum, Dayton, Ohio
12 p.m. – 1 p.m.	Lunch on your own at the Air Force Museum.
1 p.m. – 4 p.m.	Air Force Museum Nikon Shootout Put into practice what you have learned earlier this week. The Air Force Museum will provide numerous opportunities to try those new ideas and new equipment from Canon and Nikon.
4:30 p.m.	Depart Air Force Museum for Dinner
5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.	Dinner, Dayton, Ohio
6:45 p.m. – 8 p.m.	Team Building Activity Learn new strategies to work better as a team. In this fun filled activity you will laugh, and stretch yourself to work smarter.

Thursday, June 21

9:00 a.m. – 10:15 p.m.	Tim Plumer Adobe Lightroom Workshop, Marcum Conference Center Lightroom is becoming the "goto" application for professional photographers. Adobe educator, Tim Plumer will show us the new features and how to make this program part of your workflow.

1:15 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.	Healthy Snacks, Tai Chi, Health & Wellness Coach, Geri Sue Sandor, Marcum Conference Center We all know the busy life of a university photographer, lunch at your desk, dinner on the go, and sitting for hours editing photographs. All of these can lead to unhealthy habits and result in health issues. Geri Sue will give us choices and solutions to combat these tendencies. These ideas can prevent injuries, and lead to better health.

Come hear one the world's best photographers and learn how shemanaged career and family successfully. There will be a book signing. Annie will critique a select group of UPAA photographs

1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.	Portfolio Extensis Best practices discussion. Marcum Conference Center The best photograph in the world is useless if you can't find it! Portfolio is one of the leaders in DAM solutions. Many of our members use this product to mange libraries with assets from 20,000 to 200,000. This will be a discussion on best practices with real world examples from university photographers using this product.

4:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.	Aaron Johnson: “What the Duck Live”, Marcum Conference Center We have all laughed out loud at Aaron's insights in photography. What you may not know is Aaron is a Photoshop expert as well. This funa and informative presentation will make you laugh and give you some new ideas.
