Thursday’s Recap – 2011 UPAA Symposium

We spent the day on Thursday with Robert Seale. Robert is an incredible teacher and he shared a lot of valuable insight as he walked us step by step through some of his favorite shoots. After the morning session, we packed up and drove south to Red Canyon, which is just a few miles outside of Bryce Canyon. There on the side of the highway we did a live shoot with a BYU dancer who was kind enough to travel to Bryce to pose for us. Check out the video below:

It was quite a sight to see 70 photographers follow Robert as he trekked through the canyon finding new photos. We also demonstrated the Eye-Fi Pro X2 Card in action, sending the photos that Robert took to an iPad for instant preview. It was great to be able to show the group all the photos that Robert took a few seconds after the fact.
