We are excited to announce that Donald Miralle will be our featured speaker on Tuesday June 21st. During his presentation "Seeing the Same Thing Differently" he will share how he approaches assignments with the goal to come away with something nobody else captures.

With over 30 international awards and accolades for his work, Donald Miralle is recognized as one of the premier editorial and commercial sports photographers worldwide. He is a multiple award winner at the World Press Photo Awards, Pictures of the Year International, Best of Photojournalism, and American Photo from his work from nearly every major sporting event world-wide including six Winter and Summer Olympic Games, nine Super Bowls, the Indianapolis 500 and the British Open to name a few.

His photos can be seen the covers and pages of Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, Time, ESPN the Magazine, Golf Digest, and Men’s Journal. Miralle has shot award-winning ad campaigns for Nike, Gatorade, Adidas, NFL Players Association, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Ralph Lauren and Visa.

In 2007 Photo District News (PDN) did a cover story on Miralle’s work named “Shooting From Left Field”, and his work has also been profiled in magazines including British Journal of Photography, The Holland Times, Top Magazine in Brazil, Tutti Fotographi in Italy and on TV shows like ESPN, Entertainment TV and the Today Show.

Born and raised in Southern California, Miralle graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and sculpture while competing on the University’s Division I Men’s Swimming team. In his spare time he is an elite paddleboard racer placing 2nd at the Hennessey’s International Championships in 2010 and completing the 32-Mile Catalina Channel Crossing to raise money and awareness for cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
